Catch, Remove, Repeat

Meridian’s tested process delivers results

When people ask us what makes Meridian Bird Removal so successful, they expect us to cite our patented bird capture gear. Our patented system is definitely special, but no device works without a tested, repeatable process in place.

This process, plus people trained to deploy it, are two of the reasons Meridian is growing so fast. With it, we can onboard new Bird Removal Technicians quickly and ensure they enjoy the same success with bird capture and removal as our veteran BRTs.

The first step in the process is to Identify the Bird Issue. This step takes place on the customer side, where the facilities manager or building owner trains staff members to recognize bird issues and report the problem.

The next step in the process is to Contact Us. For an emergency bird issue, please call right away.  Emergencies are typically a hawk (or other bird of prey), or imminent shutdown. For all other issues, you may call or email.

The third step is to Confirm the Issue and Schedule Technicians. Meridian listens to your specific situation and draws on experience and knowledge to zero in on the species of bird and the potential issues.  Based on your needs, we propose the appropriate solution. Once an agreement is reached, we schedule technicians.

Then, we Capture and Remove the Bird(s) using our patented system. We’ve covered this part of the process in past articles (capture and remove pest birds) – we’re still proud of the fact that our patented capture system is humane, PR-friendly, and causes minimal disruption to your business. We also provide a post-service report (PSR) advising on Prevention and Best Practices to help customers avoid bird problems in the first place.

Meridian understands that mitigating bird problems in a facility is a collaborative process – one that involves the participation of building managers, employees, and Meridian’s BRTs.

We’ve spent the past nine years developing and perfecting this process, observing how it works and teaching it to new hires. Our process helps them be successful and keep your facility bird-free.
