In 2023, we made a goal to capture a bird in all 50 states. Watch the story of our Alaska adventure.

Meridian Bird Removal began as a regional company serving a few states in the Mid-Atlantic area. By the middle of 2023, we had served 49 states in the union, plus Puerto Rico. Could we make it 50 by the end of the year? One of Meridian’s core values is Eagerly Optimistic, so of course, the answer was yes.

When we announced to the team we were angling for an Alaska capture by the end of the year, Technicians lined up for the call. With only 4 days to spare in the year, we sent Bird Removal Technicians Larry L. and Angela M. to Wasilla, Alaska for Meridian’s first ever bird removal in that state.

The journey was long, and we kept our eye on the weather. The airline mixed up Angela’s Bird-n-Free Capture gear, delaying it. Fortunately, Larry had packed an extra set, so they were able to make it to the worksite and get their birds. You can watch Angela and Larry tell the story here: Alaska Ho!
