SOLUTION
Meridian used the pigeon removal system to effectively assess, remove and monitor the birds and to solve the bird issues for Towers Mall long term.
- The assessment phase revealed the presence of over 100 pigeons
- The population was initially reduced by over 90% in the first year of service utilizing trapping and live capture techniques
- Over the next 3 years, regular monthly inspections revealed when the population started to increase again, and a quick removal followed
- Due to the success, inspections have now been reduced in frequency to every other month, and the population remains under control
